Michael is a self-taught chef who was a Top 10 Finisher of the nationwide Premier 2016 Culinary Creations Contest for his Healthy Center of the Plate Recipe. He has served three years as Food Services Director at The Lantern at Morning Pointe, a long term dementia care community owned by Independent Healthcare Properties. Michael likes to focus on serving the senior community with innovative cooking ideas that are brain healthy for residents with dementia. His previous experience includes six years in chef positions at Josie's and Glenn's Creek Brewery, both in Lexington, KY, and Glenn's Creek BBQ in Millville, KY.
